At La Maingotiere...
40 acres has allowed us to
create places of peace and tranquillity
where you can relax or read a book away from some of the more energetic
activities provided such as:
fishing
swimming
table tennis
badminton
boules
cycling
swings
football
swingball
and the sand pit.
We have cut paths through our
land for strolls and can provide maps for longer walks. We feel that the
comments in our Visitor Book reflect the fact that we have succeeded in
our aims. Here are some examples from 2004:
"What a lovely
relaxing place. I don't think my blood pressure has ever been so
low!" Moores - Cheltenham
"Wonderful
stay. Lovely and quiet but plenty for the children to see and
do." Houzes - Jersey
"We've had a great
holiday. A special thank you to Pat & Geoff for making us feel so welcome and for the
extra touches, fresh eggs, daily weather forecasts etc. We all loved the great
surroundings, walks by the river coypu spotting and the games barn. When we did manage to
tear ourselves away, we had great days out including Futuroscope and
Chauvigny. After two
dullish days, the weather has been fantastic and the pool much used. Thanks again and we
hope to return." Bullocks, Norfolk.
